Davenport’s Chocolates bring a fusion of the old, celebrated traditions of chocolate and a fresh approach to taste, texture and style.

Established in 2007, Davenport’s Chocolates aims to create a clientele of discerning chocolate lovers in North East England. Jane Williams, the founding chocolatier of the company, trained under Swiss master chocolatier Philippe Burger over 7 years ago. She then worked at a patisserie in Marlow, Buckinghamshire and also travelled throughout Europe in a quest to expand her chocolate experience.

Her passion for the creative and innovative potential in chocolate to be realised has culminated in the creation of Davenport’s Chocolates. Each chocolate is innovatively created to be an individual experience, whilst also cherishing the heritage of craftsmanship and skill from past generations.
